A LITTLE ABOUT US.

Here at Greenacres Dog Hotel, we ensure that your dog is loved and treated as one of our own as we make sure to go the extra mile caring for their needs. We are an animal-loving family who would love to care for your dogs while you are on holiday. I've had my license for nine years and have been rated five stars by the Mendip District Council. My children have all grown up and left the family home, however, they support us from time to time having looked after their own pets as children. Sometimes we do need a small break though so if we do plan to go away we have reliable staff in place to take care of everything while we are away. We also have staff available if we need to go out for any reason. We walk your dogs at least once a day, However, most days it's 3 times not to mention they have all-day access to my large garden which has been set up so it can be divided to keep any dogs separate if needed. The dogs are walked along rural areas on leads or can roam freely around our nine acres under supervision at all times. If it's suitable they will also be able to roam in the field whilst we work outside, so they often spend several hours in the field with ourselves.

Throughout the winter if the dogs are muddy we offer them a warm shower, and a toweling robe which we have in every size, and they are cared for in a warm and dry environment. In the summer we offer paddling pools, and shaded areas by using gazebos and fans throughout their rooms to ensure they stay cool. We always make sure that there is plenty of fresh water available at all times. I also have my own 2 dogs, Nala and Paddy that are always friendly and have a great time playing with those that are staying.

The dogs sleep downstairs in different rooms with everything they need and they are in the same area of the house as our dogs are they get treated exactly the same as our dogs. People often ask who our dogs are and I say guess and they say they can't, which I reply that is the point.

There is a video on our Facebook page showing you around.

We want you to have the utmost confidence in us and our safety of your pets, therefore, we have gates and fencing to stop any little adventurers from wandering off, we do not advertise our direct location in order to prevent any dog thefts and I am fully trained in canine first aid.
